Prof Eoin O’Brien honoured by the Dutch Society of Hypertension

Prof Eoin O’Brien, Medical Director of dabl Ltd, has been awarded the Willem H. Birkenhäger Award for Hypertension Research at the recent scientific meeting of the Dutch Society of Hypertension in Zeist, The Netherlands. This award is made every two years to a clinical scientist whose research has been judged to have significantly changed the practice of management of hypertension. The role of ambulatory blood pressure measurement in achieving blood pressure control was the subject of Prof O’Brien’s Birkenhäger Lecture to the Society.
